The relevant subsection of the HIPAA law is ยง164.308(a)(5): Standard: Security awareness and training. Implement a security awareness and training program for all members of its workforce (including management).
HIPAA Workforce Certificate for Professionals (HWCP): $40.00
The HWCP Certificate provides annual HIPAA training for staff who come into contact with Protected Health Information (PHI). Certified HIPAA Security Professional for Compliance Officers (CHSP): $449.00
The CHSP Certification provides comprehensive training in HIPAA for business associates, security officers, and medical staff managers. Detailed lessons describe every aspect of HIPAA compliance, including the Privacy and Security rules, regulatory changes brought by the HITECH Act and Omnibus Final Rule of 2013, requirements for business associates, and more.
